Monday on Facebook Angela Chrysler asked for suggestions to help us reach a billion dollars. Team National Factory Direct would like to respond to several good suggestions that were posted.
The first suggestion is that Team National Factory Direct provides more detail and more images for the products we offer. We rely on the furniture manufacturers to provide us with all descriptions and product images and we put that information online. Some of the companies do a better job of photographing and describing their products than others. This is one of the main reasons we invested and will continue to invest in our Video Library. We are building a studio at our new facility so we can shoot video on more and more collections of furniture. The second suggestion involved including appliances in Team National Factory Direct, the distribution channel for appliances in some states are different than with furniture. Appliances are sold in those states to an exclusive distributor who then sells them to dealers. Because of this way of distribution it they would not be direct from the factory and the savings would not be as significant as we are able to achieve with furniture.
The third suggestion was about offering cabinets through Team National Factory Direct. We have looked into this and the reason we have not moved forward with it is that we cannot at this time find a way to uphold our return policy with cabinets. Because Cabinets need precise measurements for installation and most cabinet companies will not accept returns, at this time, we feel we cannot provide the positive customer service we would like to for this product.
